Terry Thompson has had a lifelong involvement in the horse industry.

• He has judge's cards in NRHA, ApHC, F.E.I. and AQHA.
• He serves on the NRHA judge's teaching panel and the NRHA judge's committee.
• He is very active in the ApHC and the ApRHA.

It is from this on-going experience and valuable insight that he gives his non pros a first hand understanding of what judge's look for amongst competitors.

He has over 250 National and World Titles to his credit and earnings over $300,000.

He is the only Appaloosa trainer to have the same horse, in the same year, win the Western Pleasure at the Nationals, Worlds and the Solid Gold Futurity. (The Miracle Chip)

He rode the only Appaloosa to win the open reining class at the Quarter Horse Congress. (Charger Charmer)

He rode an Appaloosa to the highest placing win to date in the NRHA Futurity. (Gunsmoke's Skeeter)

In 2005, he was awarded the "Trainer of the Year" from the ApHC for his lifetime achievements.
